CALCIUM CARBONATE OR CHELATE? ELUCIDATING THIS QUESTION USING A CASE STUDY. Analytical Chemistry disciplines are present in the curriculum of several undergraduate courses. However, based on our experience, students not always able to realize association scientific concepts included these with social context and, specially, their future field work. In report, we used a case study about calcium supplementation by carbonate and chelate that science outreach activity, which was applied enrolled three courses: Pharmacy, Biomedicine, Chemistry. We noticed only got actively involved case, but also highlighted importance this took beyond classroom, requested inclusion other similar activities discipline. Although different answers were presented for results obtained bring positive impact instructors’ teaching practice courses as whole.
